As part of the subject matter I decided to draw different items which were relevant to the band. To begin with I drew very literal drawings, such as Carl Barat and Pete Doherty, the main icons within the band. Once these were complete I then started to think more about the music side and drew two different guitars at different angles, again this was still quite literal. Therefore I drew two different cigarette drawings to try and shy away from the literal approaching. The reason for this drawings were thought of due to Pete being an icon for his behaviour, often smoking, drinking and taking drugs.
